How to do NaNoWriMo with Kelly Blanchard

Have you ever wondered how to do NaNoWriMo? Maybe you have attempted the challenge but couldn't complete it. In this episode, I had the opportunity to speak to author, Kelly Blanchard, about how to have a successful NaNoWriMo. Kelly has participated in National Novel Writing Month every year since 2007. She has successfully written and published multiple books including several from her fantasy series The Chronicles of Lorrek.

With NaNoWriMo 2020 just a few weeks away I really wanted to have an episode to help those of you who are attempting the challenge for the first time. As well as anyone who may have tried in the past but not succeeded. This episode is full of some practical advice. Kelly also shares an inspiring message to those aspiring authors who feel as though they failed because didn't succeed.

• Save your work and back it up. Something inevitably happens during NaNoWriMo.
• If you've never done NaNaNoWriMo start practicing now.
• You don't want to go into this without any preparation. Create an outline.

There is no such thing as failure. There is not accomplishing what you wanted when you wanted, but that doesn't mean you failed.
